Skinning/Modeling Contest

Yes it true, you dont have trouble with your eyes. Here's the rule:

-You may base your skin on a existing model
-You may choose any model you want
-You may make a new model and skin it or let someone else do it for you.
-The best skin win
-A custom model+skin have a much greater chance to win.

The character you will have to skin/model is the bad guy of the game which doesnt have a name yet. The guy is a human or elf and he's a skilled swordman (use kanata (blademaster) like blade). He must look evil but not too much (no red eyes). He most look average size in game.(not too tall/small/fat)
Overall: He's like sephiroth.

This is the best you can do. If you're not skilled in modeling or skining you may form a team.

For those who dont want to have a custom/modified model: Just choose a war3 or war3x model and make a good skin for it.

There's no time limit. (which doesnt mean wait 'till 2006)

i might do it i doubt there will be much competition lol... Do you happen to have concept art of it or of sephroth i havent played ff7 in years. Any color scheme in particular? Also what model in wc3 or wc3 tft do u think is the best fit for it?

Maybe the best is the ninja model you can find in the model download forum. A blademaster without flag should work too. Or the arthas model with no team color so you can alpha out lot of useless thing. Even medvih or the bandit might work.

I was more feared that nobody reply to this. I suppose my little ad in the skin forum did it job.

Take note that I dont want him to be exactly like sephiroth from one of those final fantasy project. Thos pics are mainly for the face. The way he look evil. If nobody else join you, I'll give it a shot.:D (wonder who's gonna win, naa wont be me because I suck)

The problem with the badguy skin is the base model. There's no gladiator, ninja, samurai model that is ready for use. (like the blademaster would be cool but the damnit stupid model grr)

I'll make a request for a blademaster, bandit and arthas model with no team color so people here will find it easier.

wow chikago. Im sure the skin in photoshop look exactly like yours. Wondering how it would look on a bandit skin. Ho and since I already use arthas, it might take something to make your guy look different on the portrait. Ho and can you show an image of the portrait.

Im gonna try to learn how to remove team color in mdl editing but all tutorial here arent easy to figure out.

Let say you alpha out the cape of arthas. In the editor it will show a red rectangle (since owner is player one) If you set it neutral hostile it will make the cape black?

no there will be no cape at all(al least i tihnk) try it!
