yes well in 3ds max when i edit a vertex it will only go like left or right or up or down got any pointers. |

reinstall 3d max it could be your not using it right try uing the left or right view insead of using prospices view to move vertexts ity also could be ho wmuch ram you have you must have 128 mega bites to use 3dmax. |

G max is the free version 3dmax it however dose not have all abitiles that 3dmax has like writing scripts and rendering. To get 3dmax Go to you local Pc super store and ask for the retailer in your stae that sells 3dmax it will cost you about $3000. |
