Hey guys, sorry cuz i'm sure this has ben posted a ton before... but im trying to do a skin on the demon hunter, so I want to select his chest first... (btw i have PSP V.7) with the "freehand" tool... next I proceed to carefully outline his whole chest, but when I finished it selected a quite large area, and when I tried to move it... I wouldnt see it, so i copied it and pasted it into another thing I had up, but it was so faded and transparent I could hardly see it.... any help plz? |

Well, first off, you shouldnt use the freehand tool. But besides that, Im thinking that the chest's opacity is really low. Try and turn up da opacity. Also (Since I have little experience with PSP, I use Photoshop) try messing with the layers. But I dont see why you would need to select the chest itself...Usually you color the whole image with basic colors and then use dodge and burn to darken/lighten things up. |

thanks, you were right, as for selecting the chest... (I don't know a TON about skinning, but from what i DO know) that would basically be a recolor, in this, it allows you to give the unit a basic skin color and then basically re-do the whole thing... (or atleast I hope thats what I'm going for) who knows? I may be completely wrong and the skin culd turn out like a bad drawing? |

Another question.... I downloaded Image Extractor II from this site, but when I open it, I was looking for the new units, but couldn't find them anywhere, I had the first Image Extractor and it's set up the same as that, and there are a bunch of hero skins under Textures... am I just stupid? and ONE more thing (bear with me :D) when I'm done with the skin and I want to put it in the map, I go back to image extractor (right now it's a .tga) and do I re-save it as a .BLP? thanks! |

Image Extractor III still has bugs, but has the files you want. |
