As moderator of this forum, I'm responsible (Ooo!) for it to run smoothly, but I'd like people's input before I do a few things - just new threads to help tidy up the forum and direct newcomers to what they want. I had the following in mind: -Deleting the current stuck thread of 'Need voice actors? Look Here!' thread, due to it being inefficient and having unnecessary posts. -Creating threads for: a roster of local actors that accept all voice acting requests (I'm not sure who would definitely sign up for this -- I wouldn't, though that's due to my busy schedule), advice on getting voice actors, links to useful sites (SAVAGE, Jesse's site, etc) and tutorials. Perhaps the same with composers for music too. Yes or no? 8) |

I like the composer bit. ;) And the VA bit sounds a bit like SAVAGE is organized. This would work better with just a list of Voice Actors and a list of composers stickied to the top. So anyone can contact them and ask them. |

u could have one thread which lists good voice actors. but to be listed in this thread u have to submit a few samples of your va talent in another thread named "applications" (or whatever u wanna call it) and the samples u submit will b judged, and given advice if needed by the people who are listed in the good voice actors thread. if the samples are good enough that person would be known as a good voice actor and be listed in "the good voice actor listings thread". like i said just and idea... |

there are alot of useless posts on this forum.. perhaps a subsection is needed.. one of actual sound issues.. and one for the voice actors and directors looking for voice actors it would make casting and such alot easier. |
