i have been thinking about working on an X-men Mod. either as hero arena or rpg. or something like Rpg, but u go around recruiting mutants into ur team. i have done the buttons and skills for Juggernaut. 1st icon-> 2d portrait 2nd icon -> Skill----enhances Juggernauts armor by 5 every level 3rd icon -> Skill----Heavy Punch (cleaving attack) 4th icon -> Skill----Angry Stomp (stomp) 5th icon -> Skill----Revive (reincarnation) for the ingame model, i used Raxxar, and edited the textures. But i cant seem to remove the shoulder armor. can someone help? I am currently working on Magneto using Bloodmage |

There's another site out there (I can't remember which, for the life of me) that's working on a large-scale set of X-men themed maps. They were doing a lot of model editing work when I last checked up on it. You might try to find that and see what they're up to. Either they might let you on the team, or they might let you use their stuff. As far as removing the shoulder armor, the only visually-appealing way that I know of to do that is to edit the model with 3ds max. Direct your question to the Modelling and Animation forum. |

Not bad at all. I never ever saw the bloodmage as anything but a wussy little archmage wanna be...but this proved me wrong. |

if you make wolverine base it off units\demon\chaosorcrange\chaosorcrange.mdl ,it looks a whole lot like like wolverine, |

Seriously, that BM ...I give it a 9.7/10. The Rexxar skin looks pretty good, could use a little more detail on the armor. But who am I to say that...I don't have a clue about skinning. :D |

They both look nice, but that Magneto is pretty F'in sweet. GJ if you made them yourself. |

it has to be said Good Job that magneto skin is 9.9/10 as for jugganaught(sp) looks great just something wrong with mouth (isnt his mask a full face mask?) anyway i could only hope to make something half as good as that keep up the good work |

thanks for everyone's comment. it took me 1 whole day to edit the texture and the model... morphing the hair into a helmet is no easy job..... anyway, for the custom buttons, i extract WC3 buttons and put my own picture on top of it in photoshop. (without covering the outer "pop up effect". i have attached a photoshop template for the buttons. feel free to use it. |
