How can I create a custom unit that's a hero, that doesnt have the voice tracks of an existing hero? I can change apperance et all, but I dont know how to modify the voice...I also dont know how to 'upgrade' a normal unit to hero status via custom... Also, how do I get it to stop saying 'level 7 whatever' on creatures that are normally creeps if theyre produced normally? |

Well, for instance I made the Owlbear a unit, produceable from the corrupted ancient of war. but it always has 'Level 8' on its profile, which is somewhat annoying. |

Yes, I'm using the Berserk Owlbear as the base because it has the 'abilities' field, and I wanted to give it Roar, and I dont know how to 'activate' the abilities field on a troop that doesnt have it. |

Yes, If it looks like an owlbear but sounds like a Huntress or something I'll feel really silly. I'm also having problems with a bunch of other creep unit stuff, if you read my other topics. |

Also of note, I have a Furbolg Shamen that is using the Orc Shamen spells and upgrades, but even though I edited his magic section to be identical to the Orcs, he doesnt get the 'magic level' thing that normal magic users have. BTW, would you like a list of troops etc I've got in the works ATM? Itl be about an hour since im going out for a tad, but i can get em up soon. |

Lesee Sentry: Melee attacker, has piercing attack vs air, and envenomed weapons. (want this to be researchable, the envenomed wep) Satyr Warrior: Basicly a Huntress with no Owl. can get Moon Glaves, and it looks like a Satyr. Owlbear: Heavy melee attacker. Can use Roar. Furbolg Shamen: basicly identical to Orc Shamen. Problems: Strength isnt upgrade-dependant, and training level doesnt show up. Nerubian Stalker: Siege unit with Web. problems: it doesnt appear to ACTUALLY do Siege damage. Assassin: Hero type, using PoTM as base. Works fine, but I need to remove all 'tiger' refrences from her vocabulary. Universal problems: Units assigned 'Moon Armor', 'Strength of Wild' etc don't actually get bonuses. they display level 1, etc, however. Ultravision doesnt work, as above. Can't research anything with more than base requirements. Can't get lv2 strength of the moon with corrupted tree of ages, for instance. Also, would like to make several abilities researchable and not immidately available (such as the envenomed weapons) |

Ok, I sent it. keep in mind it is a test map, and not designed with any real scripting or plot, just to level up the hero and test the units' combat abilities etc. Feel free to use money codes, I do. |
