Damage Base and Damage Increment?

in the upgrade portion of TFTWE for iron forged swords and other attack upgrades what is the difference between Attack Dice Bonus - Base and Attack Dice Bonus - Increment and what do they mean?

I think it means that "Attack Dice Bonus - Base" is the upgrade it gives you at the first level of the spell, and "Attack Dice Bonus - Increment" is how much it increases during the next levels of the upgrade.

For example, if an upgrade had an "Attack Dice Bonus - Base" of 2, it'd increase the bonus by 2 after you researched it once. Then, for "Attack Dice Bonus - Increment", say you had it as 1, then it'd increase the dice value by 1 every upgrade after. Get it?

I'm pretty sure that's what it means, although I could be wrong.

ya i think that how it works but okay when it adds mroe to the damage base does it add another dice or does it add more that the dice can do?

i do beleive it adds more dice, theres a plain damage increase one though (i think this is used in the grunt upgrade.. uh berserker strength?)
