Okay, I'm new to WC3 modding, although I did quite a lot of modding back in the good ol' days of WCII. Anyway, I decided to start with something that shouldn't bee too hard: I tried to add the three extra orc maps that came with the demo into the full game, in the prolouge. I changed CampaignStrings.txt by changing the [Tutorial] section as follows:

Code:
[Tutorial]
Header="Prologue Campaign"
Name="Exodus of the Horde"
Entries=5
InCinematic="The Prophecy"
OpCinematic="Thrall's Vision"
EdCinematic=""
Title0="Chapter One"
Title1="Chapter Two"
Title2="Chapter Three"
Title3="Chapter Four"
Title4="Chapter Five"
Mission0="Chasing Visions"
Mission1="Departures"
Mission2="Riders on the Storm"
Mission3="The Fires Down Below"
Mission4="Countdown To Extinction"
File0="Prologue01"
File1="Prologue02"
File2="Demo03"
File3="Demo04"
File4="Demo05"
I also added the three maps and all of the nessessary dialoge sounds (as well as the new campaignstrings.txt, of course) to war3patch.mpq.

Now none of my old single-player profiles work, and whenever I make a new profile and click on "Start Campaign", the game crashes to desktop with an error message that really doesn't tell me anything. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: I am using the latest patch (I think it's 1.12), just in case that matters.

Why don't you just get TFT? The Campaign Editor would make your life much easier. :)

I meant that I didn't know that it came with a campaign editor. My copy of TFT is still in the mail, although I should get it by tommorow. (GoGamer.com was selling it for only $20! An actually reasonable price for an expansion pack!)

EDIT: Or perhaps not. How was I to guess that when you pay a little extra for 2 day shipping, it means that it will actually take three days to get to you?
