OBJs do not contain texture coordinate information. The .MTLs do, I think that's the extension. |

Get mdx to 3ds using the attached script. A tutorial covering its use is at http://www.wc3campaigns.com/sections...ticle&artid=14 . I don't know if there is a better way by now, I've only done work in Milkshape. For your way where you started with a new model, I can tell you what I do to export from Milkshape. Use this exporter, by kdub, to export to MDL. I make the following changes, but I don't know if all(or none) are necesary(I've gotten a better result, percentage-wise, when I've done these): Tab 'Model "Model"' in once(this is only sometimes out, it seems) Tab out 'Normals ### {' once to make it even with the '}' on the above line. Tab out the line that comes after 'Triangles {'. Tab out 'MaterialID 0,' and the '}' above it once. Add a close bracket after any bone that doesn't have one to close with. I think think happens when you have no animations. The header, of course, has to be added as well. |

Yes, animations are lost. Also, do not post all of your thoughts separately. You can post them all at once in one reply. |
