I've read all about how certain files such as AbilityData.slk and the like will cause desync problems on Battle.net if they are added to the w3m file.. and maybe not work at all? My question is; since I'm making a campaign, never playable by more than one player, can I ignore those limitations? Will the game complain even if I play the map offline, as a custom map? Also, can I add AbilityData.slk and those files under these single player circumstances, or will they simply not work unless placed in an MPQ? Thanks in advance for your answers. |

Well if your making a campaign, you should put them into a custom mpq anyway. That way you arent limited to what w3m can load. If there is only 1 player (singleplayer) then there really isnt anyone for you to desync from, now is there :P |
