Hmm... - Maybe one of those things that can ruin a map... (begins to cry) ok ok - Back to what i was talking about. I encountered something that could be the thing that kill my map. It now won't let me load my map to play/test. 75% way through it will boot me from wc3 popping up a war3 dialong message saying: (yes im desperate - it will exactly be this) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- war3 This application has encountered a critical error. FATAL ERROR! Program: C:\PROGRAM FILES\WARCRAFT III\WAR3.EXE Exception: 0xc0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 017F:6F2DDFEB2 The instruction at '0x6F2DFEB2' reference memory at '0xFFFFFFFF'. The memory could not be 'read'. Press OK to terminate the application. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is where i slapped the computer a few times. Than imagined i threw it out the window like those tv commercials. >.< I did have copies but like usual but somehow they don't work too. Maybe its something I added to the map? (I was working on adding custom items and triggers at the time) I just hope this isn't the end of my Civilization Wars series ... =( Maybe reinstalling wc3 will work or rebooting the harddrive.... Other maps work except the ones i was resently working on. I don't know. I hope someone has solution for this and able to answer back quickly. I feel like i should commit homocide to a technical hardware. ^_^ <Stab me someone!... Wait, thats being violent - Hit me someone!> |

Yeah I did have the same problem with one of my maps, my best guess is that the WE is not prefect and it sometimes creates errors when making units, items, or anything else. I suggest just delete the things from your last update to the map. Do delete anything that work in older versions though. It could also be that you have a looping trigger in the map Initialization. |

Do you have a custom loading screen? If not, it could be that one of your buildings has no pathing maps, or there's a trigger that just repeatedly loops. Also, it can do that if any big sounds are played near start. |

Thank god it isnt just me. I was going wild when i couldn't load in anymore. Thank you so much for helping me. It seems that I had forgotten to add the pathing map for one of my buildings. Once i read plasma's reply - I went "OMG - Why didn't i see that before" - than i started to abuse my self .. . . - kinda... ^_^ Well, anyways. Thanks to both Plasma[Blade] & XVoltaireX for their help. I can finnaly spend endless hours on my map again! w00t! |
