BLP-files

Voi	I want to change commandbuttons and in a tips.txt-file I got (don't know from where) it stood I could download the class for blp-files in wc3campaigns but I can't find it and how's that working. Can I use PSP8 to change blps? It stands I can change tga-files to blp too but how to do that when my programs doesn't support blps yet... Need to dl this blp-class first?

Arriba!	Use Image Extractor (found in any good download section) to do TGA->BLP and BLP->TGA

Voi	Ive tested that Image Extractor now and it works to convert blp to tga but when I try to convert back it says: The file (blah blah blah) has an unsupported compression. What to do now?

BlacKDicK	YouÂ´re probably saving the TGA as a COMPRESSED FILE. Check your saving options and save it as a UNCOMPRESSED TGA.

Voi	Im not that silly. I tested save uncompressed, compressed and even 8 bits (hehe) but nothing works... Check one of my buttons here in png (my real is in tga):

Voi	I think this can be the problem, do I need 32-bits tga? In PSP8 the highest is 24-bits but I saw in another thread a picture when someone selected 32-bits tga. If that's the problem why can't I save 32-bits?

Starcraftfreak	PSP 8 works. I heard somewhere, that PSP8 means with 24-bit "24-bit without alpha". PS adds the alpha to the bit depth so it displays 32-bit. But PSP 7 and 8 (don't know about 6, but maybe this works too) can save alpha channels.

Voi	Eh... sorry... I dont really understand what u mean how to get it work in PSP8, what should I do? I can only save 24 bits uncompressed...

Voi	Thx for all help, Adobe Photoshop works! I only have one small problem left: How do I make DISBTN files? I know I can make a new file but can't I change the real to a DISBTN in an easy way? Look at this try to make DISBTN this is my version of it:

Starcraftfreak	Just give Warcraft III Viewer a try. It's far better than IE2 and can read files from PSP8 (don't argue, I have tested that right now).

DJBnJack	DUH! When will IE2 finally die? Try the new viewer thing (took them long enough) ;)
