A Siege map of mine in development and testing has finally come to the point where I need to change some heros. In the first second of the game a Window pops up in game (Dialog Box) and Players can easily select their heros by clicking on buttons labeled "Archmage", "Beastmaster" and so on. There are 8 heros total. A friend of mine (Silverl3ullet) set this system up. Very nice looking and very professional. However, Im having problems retracing his steps to change out 2 heros. Heres the Problem... Each hero is preceeded by some kind of value and then their text name. Example... |c0000FFFFArchmage |c0000FF00Farseer and so on. Where the hell did he get these vaules. I've tried looking in the Object editor under units and Heros, but the tooltip values are different, so they are not usable. I've checked for a list of these somewhere in the triggers hes using, but there are no lists. Can someone help? |

LOL. Its the color code that colors in a word. Add |r at teh end. |

Not only that, but as it stands I do believe the text will be 100% transparent. try cff rather than c00... It is reversed from the usual non-wc3 stuff I think. |cff00FFFFArchmage|r |

The first two digits in that color code are supposed to stand for Alpha Channel, not transparency, but I don't think they are used at all, so 00 should work just the same as ff. |

With much testing, long hours, and scratch marks on my forehead from the trigger editor, I think Im just about ready to put a few final touches on my map and get it out there. Thanks for your help on this subject. Really clears things up. Marksmann |
