Guest | I used WinMPQ to open my map and I saw a .doo file I would like to open (looks like it has the unit info in it) yet I do not know how to open a .doo file |

there isnt an easy way, you would definatly want to use hex editor, as no utility exists for editing doo files. One of our tutorials off the main site "All about w3m files" describes the format of the .doo. Good luck :) |

Damn! Stoned said it before me! ;P Anyway, I give a quick link: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/modules....+by+Z%E9pir#11 I'll add some stuff later about the war3mapUnit.doo. I got the format too, I just need time to bring it to HTML. ;) |

the .doo file doesnt really contain unit data, just trees |

It depends what you call a "unit". It's not only trees, it's also the starting positions, the bridges,... any thing you placed using the doodads toolbox. |
