I have a little probem with Rise of Krill. After the install I couldnt open Rise-of-Krill-WarCraft, I got this message: Couldn't initialize WarCraft III, when I pressed ok I got this: Check your CD-ROM Driver if you have inserted WarCraft III CD and I had and it is original (no crack or burned). Now I copied the War3.mpq to the RoK-directory and started. I got nothing but a black screen with a Orc-Campaign cursor. I checked the Rok-directory again and I found a new logfile: This was the problem in it: 8/17 12:41:55.360 (UI\FrameDef\GlobalStrings.fdf//164) Error, string "COLON_DIFFICULTY" has no value! 8/17 12:41:55.360 (UI\FrameDef\GlobalStrings.fdf//366) Error, string "HARD" has no value! 8/17 12:41:55.360 (UI\FrameDef\GlobalStrings.fdf//495) Error, string "MEDIUM" has no value! 8/17 12:41:55.360 (UI\FrameDef\GlobalStrings.fdf//521) Error, string "NORMAL" has no value! What to do???? |

Hmmm...I know the problem (I got it myself) too badly I don't know how to fix it.Anyway, I would like to know the answer as well. |

I had this problem with New Race Mod. But sorry, that's all I know. P.S.: I had no problem with Rise Of Krill |

download the New Race mod fix and paste the all the files exept the warcraft3.exe into your rise of krill folder. Also if it doesent work just reinstall wc3 and install ROK then patch it to the newest version. |

Rise of Krill only works with Warcraft version 1.04 or some other depricated version. It would be nice if someone could use the TFT Campaign Editor to make a TFT port that would actually work. |
