Fixing the UVW of existing model

Can this be done?

Am I correct to assume that the Tvertices found when existing mdx models are converted to mdl mean "Texture Vertices"?

If so, would it be theoretically possible to to change how a model's UVW were unwrapped?

could I import an MDX to 3dstudio..edit the uvw and then export into an mdl?

Does KMK's importer/exporter support this?

Has anyone tried this?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
