leather and chainmail

I have searched the whole internet trough for a tutorial to make leather and/or chainmail.

So please you professional and not so professional skinners can you make tutorial for that? :)

Any Photoshop tuts?

I have a kicka$$ tut on leather! (Photoshop only!)

I'll post it here:
1. Select the part u want to be leather
2. Create a new layer and fill the selection with a medium-light brown.
3. Create the lines on the leather (seams, etc.) with the burn tool.
4. Use the burn tool and do squiggly lines along the lines u just made. Experiment with this.
5. Use the dodge tool in the middle of the lines created in step 3.
6. Use filter - noise - add noise, on about 10
7. Use filter - blur - blur.
8. Deselect!

I just posted a reply on how to make chainmail. As for leather, it gets difficult, especially since you can't get too detailed with small models (the small lines)

Once I get back from vacation I'll look into how to do it.
