Is this doable? I'm hitting a snag and need to know if this is possible using cutom maps. I've tried all sorts of combinations in scripting: - setting next level - forcing victory - saving game and cache Also I note a few references to certain things not being possible without Blizzard-signed maps. Is it true, as I suspect, that campaigns (read multiple maps) are only possible for single players? And multiple player experiences are restricted to a single map? Any references to Tutorials on doing this properly would be much appreciated. And if it's not possible, to know that I'm in fact banging my head against a brick wall for nothing. cheers |

It is with modifying Wc3 within itself, but not anyway directly. DCM and Project Anarchy (at warcraftiii.net). Its been done, but its still not reccomended. Every player would have to have all the maps in the campaign, so only organized people would do this. And even if you did get it working with people, it just won't be as fun as a good, short game of AoS or a TD. |

Well it could be fun for people on a network they could share the maps and then play for months at a time (:////) but I dont know how to make it go from map to map but I do know how to transfer stats from hero to hero on the same map via GameChache but I don't think this will work over maps. :mtk:(Me new favorite sig), -Gene |

Take into account, that Game Cache doesn't work in Multiplayer. |

Not looking for anything fancy. Just some means of taking the players' heroes from one map to another. From the sounds of it I'm SOL without making my own WCIII mod. If that's the case, is there an SDK on this site and is it FT compatible? |
