i am making a cinematic and in the end of it, the two main heroes run at each other. What i want to happen is when one hero comes within x of the other hero, there will be a blinding flash covering the screen. I want the flash to last about 2.5 seconds. I have tried using this: Cinematic - Apply a filter over 2.00 seconds using Normal blending on texture Black Mask, starting with color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%) and 100.00% transparency and ending with color (0.00%, 0.00%, 0.00%) and 0.00% transparency but it flashes for no more than a split-second. |

use this Fade out and back ove 2.5 seconds using White mask with color 100% 100% 100% and 0% transparency. but it's slow flash, it's better do this Fade out over 0.4 seconds using White Mask with color 100% 100% 100% and 0% transparency Fade in over 2.1 seconds using White mask -- same as above -- |

100% transparency means it's TRANSPARENT!! So no filter! To make your filter more controlled, do separate fade ins and fade outs. Fade in your WHITE filter (cummon, who wants the screen to GLOW black) with maybe a little red and blue (yellow!) with 100% transparency, wait 2 seconds, then fade the filter out (it could be fade out then fade in, but I don't remember). You might want to create multipler very fast filters when they're running at each other. The final filter comes when they clash. |

how about you fade in 0.5 seconds, wait 1.5 seconds and fade out in 0.5 seconds. |
