Can someone tell me how to make a custom MINIMAP image for when people are in the chat lobby downloading the map they can see a custom image, someone could tell me how that would be great. Im usint TFT and I already have a custom loading screen so im somewhat familiar with the import manager and .tga files. if someone could help me that would be great. thanks in advance |

you have to make a 256 px X 256 px 32Bit Tga and name it War3mappreview.tga. then, you import it into your map via the import manager. when it's imported, make sure you change the path so it says war3mappreview.tga, and not the war3imported/.../... and that's all there is to it |

if you have problems with the 256x256 pictures not showing up in the mini-map preview screen, or it the screen is all white,, just resize your picture to 128x128 and then it should work fine. |

I do not recommend the use of custom loading screen for multi players (size is way too big) if your using the 4 tga files, it can be over 3-4 megz. The war3mapPreview.tga should be about 150-200k and the war3mapPreview.blp is only like 30k |
