FF-battle system testmap download

I startet a map with ATB (active time battle) system but never brought it to an end:

Here is the testmap for the triggers!

How does it work?

The Player hero simply moves near an enemy, then a ATB-time-bar pops up. As soon as the timer reaches 3/4 of the bar, u can give a command to your hero (Actually it's only the normal attack, but i made the triggers easy to insert spells, items, etc. ...) by dialog.
After the timer reaches the end, the hero will carry out the order.


If your hero dies, he will be revived at the centre of the map, as long as no other hero is around. If you was in a party and the party wins the battle, u will be revived instantly where you was with 1 lifepoint. (Those death triggers don't work completely correct yet; there are still bugs, but it shouldn't be hard to fix them)


Another heroes can join a battle too! If a hero is currently fighting other creeps and a second one approaches, he will be inserted in the battle. This makes the system excellent for open rpgs, too!


There are some Debug-keys:
-set 1 (Sets the heroes life to 1% - useful to test the eath triggers)
-set 2 (Sets the bot's life to 1%)
-level 1 (Sets the heroes level to 5 - useful to test the win triggers)
-level 2 (sets the bots level to 5)
-test 1 (makes the bot to walk near the enemies in the south)
-test 2 (makes the bot to walk near the enemies in the west)



How to edit it?

Well the map triggers and variables are made in german language, but if u have interrests in using my system, i will give u explanations or translate them into english.

Currently there are only 2 players programmed: player 1 and a bot, who does work nearly exactly in the same way as player one, but with some changed triggers (because the computer doesnt know really what to do if a dialog pops up ... ;) )

If u want to insert more players, i will give u some instructions to do that without causing new bugs.


What's the 'pet'?

Well thats an idea from iRO. I wanted to insert pets (heroes with creature style and inventory limits) for each hero, but then i wanted to make a normal map again so i never really finaled the triggers for. It should work, though!


I simply dont understand anything!

Well my triggers aren't really easy to understand, but if u get how they are linked, it's not difficult to edit any more!
