UMSWE Logo Contest Voting Poll - Winner KDEWolf

Now that the contest submissions have ended on 21.08.2003 at 22:35 the UMSWE Team is proud to announce the voting poll, to decide, which logo
will be used in the final release of UMSWE 4.

There have been 12 submissions.

Rules:

1) Before you vote you should look at all of the logos.
2) Don't talk about the creators of the logos. You should vote for a logo, not for a person.
3) Don't post stupid/useless stuff (I will warn you for spamming!).

Ohhh... This was a hard choice. 3, 10, and 12 were all EXCELENT! Very good job! However, I chose 12, because it has more of a WC3 overall theme, while 3 has a Unreal Tournament theme, and 10 a StarCraft one.

WoW, #6 and #12 really blew me away
But I chose #12 :)
I love 12's light effects coming from behind the earth, very cool.

Well the things here are really difficult, There is a tie betwen much of them, PRetty hard work there, Congratulations on the creators of every of them.

EDIT: This should appear in the news. The poll needs as much votes as possible

By the way, how long will this poll be up? 4 days?

They are all awesome but....Only logo 6 and logo 11 have a warcraft feelemote_confused

1 is too dramatic and colorful.
2 the effect of the editor's buttons is ugly.
3 looks good but is more like a SC logo.
4 is ok I guess.
5 is boring.
6 is cool and gives a god like feel to the the environment of the editor.
7 is boring.
8 is stupid.
9 is too hard to read.
10 has a SC-like feel and is a too dark.
11 doesn't make it feel editor-like.
12 i thought was too dramatic.

The best ones up there are #3 and #4, and I voted #4. May I ask why Scio never asked ME to make one for this? I would've made one that actually had the UMS colorscheme lol.

1: Crop job of miss-matched colors, icons, and models.
2: Somebody learned a few photoshop tricks recently, but the pic lacks any artistic feel and looks like a collection of effects randomly thrown on each other.
3: Awesome design, coloring, theme, etc. One of the best.
4: Few things shout "cool" more than Arthas jamming to a guitar as the lovely UMSWE logo sits looking proud. The background is nice too. My fav.
5: Neat look, but not really detailed enough.
6: The 3-d foreground and the 2-d background clash, which is the only thing really keeping this one down.
7: Too dark and monochrone, although nice attempt.
8: Neon lights went out in the 80's, just let them rest in peice!
9: SOMEBODY has seen the Matrix a few too many times, and while it isn't actualy ugly it's just annoying to try and read.
10: Too abstract and specialized, looks like a Picasso work with War3 models thrown in.
11: Looks great, however it's not as cool as some of the others.
12: Nice look to it, but the white border and the UUUUUUUGLY text ruin this one.

I choose 3, 6, 10. Overall, I like #6.

7 and 9 here. Rest look too kiddy. 9 is a bit hard to read, but I just love things that mess with your head..lots of hidden messages in there lol. But I voted 7

My vavorites #3,4,6,12. I would like to see them all when opening UMSWE. But rules says i need to chose only one so im writing numbers on small paper peaces, closing my eyes and choosing one...AND THE WINNER IS...#6!!! Congratulations!

It looks like three is going to win, but i don't think it is right type of feel. It really cool, but looks like a SC editor logo not a WC III editor logo.

I have a question, too. This "logo" is just seen at the splash screen correct? You aren't making it like a bg for the program.
