Ok, before you get on me about the heaps of tutorials out there, hold up. I've looked at them, they are just about ALL for roc's editor, and if they've been updated all they say is that the import manager makes it all easier, without explaining how to use it to apply a new skin to a model. The situation : I got Image Ex 2 extracted the Warden skin edited it in PS7 saved as a .tga opened in IEx2 saved as a .blp imported it into my map Uh .. now what? How do I apply it to a custom unit? I tried naming it IronRaven.blp in hopes that it would overwrite the old one like some guides said you should probably do, but I don't see how to apply the thing to the custom hero I'm trying to make. Any help would be appreciated :) |

It's easy, select the file in the import manager and tell it to use a custom path. Set the full name to... Units\NightElf\HeroWarden\HeroWarden.blp Save; quit; and reload and it should work... |

Ok, I did what you said, then I reloaded the map .. It didn't change anything. I'm a bit confused too, the only property I see that I could change the unit with is the Art - Model File one. Is there another one I'm supposed to be setting to make it show my skin? Or was your suggestion supposed to replace the default Warden skin? It didn't work with /, wouldn't save, so I tried \ marks in the file path and it hasn't replaced the default Warden skin yet :( |

They are supposed to be \'s Try this path... Units\NightElf\Maiev\Maiev.blp Once you import the file and use a ustom path, it automaticaly replaces the old skin with the new so there is nothing to do with this in the Unit Editor. |

It didn't work again :( I copied and pasted your path after renaming the .blp file to Maiev and it still didn't work. |
