You could always open it with an mpq-viewing program and take out the stuff one by one and implant it in a new map. At least, that's what I've been told. |

Your own fault not UMS WE. You use it at your own risk. Don't blame anything/anyone else for what you use or did. |

Hey guy, don't troll. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. I think what he meant to say is: Always keep backups of your map. Even though I personally don't do that. Gogogo, hypocritical. |

man strung, calm down, i wasent serious about it, its a great editor if not the best... but guys, i realized that i was using the basic editor after my 1st map scrweed up in UMS WE... and as i was working on my 2nd map in the basic editor (one that comes with the game) i saved it over and over again, opening it over and over again to make sure it hadnt messed up. but, the next morning it did... any ideas? Im all for restarting it now, but what happens if it screwed up again in the normal editor? that is why i need to make sure it works now EDIT: Could it be b/c the map is 256x256? (unlikely i guess) |

back up your map and get winMPQ (very realiable)and delete the file out of there. Don one at a time checking until it loads. if you delete a file and it doesn't work then delete that copy and back the origanl again repeat with a diferent file. That's the only solution i can think of. |
