And one last question

What triggers did you change in 2.3 from 2.2?

And why is my post dated the 21st and yours dated the 22nd?

I got me here two maps. One of them splits half the people in the start, the other one does not. (splits IE they go over to their own private game while the rest of the people go into a different game) Any ideas what causes it? (I've looked briefly at the maps and I didn't see any differences that'd cause this problem...)

I changed no triggers, I changed nothing about the maps they're not mine...But I figure that whatever the cause of the problem is, its gotta be something that should be known. It splits on map start, which means its either a new unit/change to an existing unit, or its a trigger that runs on map init/0 elapsed time...

As to the date problem I have no idea...It can't possibly use the date on my computer can it?

Well i assume it would have to do with syncing the games. I don't know how triggers could cause a game to sply causing one side to have a certain syncing while the other players have a different syncing. It would have to be a trigger that's fairly resource intensive in terms of what it does in my opinion. Perhaps instead of Map Initialization for many triggers, using Elapsed Time Is 2.00 seconds or something would work better. I really have no idea so don't take anything i say for being true or backed up with any specific data ; )

Gir, thats the reason I posted the two maps, was wondering if someone wanted to take a look at them and see if they could find something I missed. 2.2 does not "drop" people, 2.3 does. I don't know exactly everything that was changed because I didn't make either of them, but its got to be something that was changed from 2.2 to 2.3...

I think this would be useful knowledge for the mapping community in general because I've seen this same thing happen in a buncha other maps, just never right away like these...
