You can either change an existing hero or custom a unit that is a hero. Change there unit model and Inteface icon. And you have a peon hero :D |

Can a have a custom unit that is hero, have spells ability, can level up, have inventory and at the same time can build buildinds? possible? |

yes all making a custom hero/unit does is it takes a copy of the unit your basing it off of and pastes it into the map.. so that means all of its stats/art/abilites etc are the same as the base but now u can edit the unit and have another as well in fact u can actually highlight a unit in object manager hit ctrl+c then ctrl+v wait... wait.... wait.... wait... wait... wait.... and bang youll have a new unit under custom units folder :D |

One of the Heroes in my map (link to it is in sig) is a Peon. =) Here's how I made it: 1. Right-click Tauren Chieftan and choose "Copy Unit". 2. Right-click again and choose "Paste Unit". 3. Now there is a Tauren Chieftan in the Custom Units section. Select it. 4. Change the "Art - Icon - Game Interface" to "Peon". 5. Change the "Art - Icon - Score Screen" to "Peon". 6. Change the "Art - Model File" to "Peon". 7. Change the "Sound - Unit Sound Set" to "Peon". 8. Change the "Text - Name" to (whatever you want to call your Hero). Then go and edit all the other stats as you wish, change the spells, etc. :) |

I wish all noobs were like you, most of them would be all like; "just change art - model!" "wuh?" "Its in your custom hero based off the old one, i told you!" "do i need triggers?" |

As far as I know, you can do everything except for build structures, but I'm working on that. If you use the "Tiny Building" abilities and turn them in to spells somehow, you might be able to get it to work, though. That's the best I can think of. |

if u want him to build buildings along with being a hero just give your peon hero the unknown (****) ability that the peons really have... just look at the normal peon under melee>units |
