I downloaded it and the zip is fine for me.
Try to download it again with something like download accelerator or Flashget...

If you're downloading a rar, it'll not work! I only uploaded a zip! :)
That rar must be a mistake or an old version removed.

Here are the correct links:

http://war3pub.net/upload/index.php?...e=w3zmeb7a.zip

http://www.wc3campaigns.com/uploads/Zepir/w3zmeb7a.zip

http://www.wconline.org/ace_/downloads/w3zmeb7a.zip

Where did you try to get it? Where is that rar?

Hmm...I went to www.wc3campaigns.com then clicked downloads, then tools, then zepir's map editor...

I tried it from a diff comp, doing the same thing, and it dl'd a zip file, I also tried clearing my cache (on the first comp) and it still wanted to dl a rar file...its quite strange

Zepir, quick question. Why does your editor replace the mini-map?

Wondering.

Newhydra: I updated the link. Skull did link a bad archive. :-/

Heaven:
That's a good thing you're talking about that since I did a little "mistake": I didn't mention it in the readme! ;)

Well, it doesn't replace the minimap. It adds one in the preview screens.
You can remove it to reduce your map size. It's the file called war3mapPreview.TGA. You can remove it with WinMPQ in your W3M or just delete or rename the file where you installed W3Z in the "MapFiles\" directory. You can also replace it with one of your own logo! ;)
I didn't finished the option that allows you to choose if you want or not a preview logo and I didn't include the import Preview minimap option.

You should also remove the file war3mapPath.tga from your map. It is generated but is not needed. I forgot to remove it. It was used for the war3beta compatibility.

I'll fix all that in the next version.

I am making a madness map, the kind where you can choose your own units. In order to get the unit i wanted i had to make it a custom unit. When i open up and save the map in W3Z (the newest beta downloaded less than a week ago) it doesn't save the custom unit. So when i play the map some of the units are gone. Is there anyway to fix this?

So you don't have the newest.
Check you version, you might have the b5 or the pre-7 and not the 7a.
Get the new one that works fine with custom units.
