I need help! Negative numbers, making unholy aura an offensive slow aura?

I need help in my editing progress. I know this is possible, but I can't work it out, and it's terribly frustrating.
I know it's possible to make Unholy Aura an offensive aura that slows enemies. I already got the target right, but whenever I want to change

Level 1 - Data - Movement speed Increase (%) to a negative
( -10% ) number, it changes back to a big fat 0 when pressing enter/OK.

What should I do? What CAN I do? I really want this to work.
Advice greatly appreciated.

File - Preferences - Allow Negative Reals in Object Editor
