Anybody know a way to convert Text Triggers back into GUI Format? |

maybe its just me, but when the big message box pops up that says: "Once a trigger is converted to custom text it cannot be converted back." when you try to convert to custom text, i generally think u can't easily although i'm sure its wholely possible with an external program, but i haven't gone looking for one |

Now you know to make copies of triggers before converting them. |

Nope, there is no way to do it. But I don't see why you'd need to, seeing as how it warns you before you convert them to text, so you have the chance to make a copy of it... |

okay guys, just to clear something up,, I'm not a retard, I didn't convert triggers to text, I just saw some triggers on the Wintermaul maps, that seem interesting, and I wanted to know how they were made,, thats all.. if they can't be converted, thats no biggie, thanks anyways. Quote:

If you want to know how the triggers work, you should contact the Author. Seeing as it's a Maul, however, the "author" probably doesn't know how they work either ;) |

I just asked myself the same Question, if you can re-convert the Triggers. I converted a Trigger to Text and my (German) World Editor told me :"Nachdem ein Auslöser in Text umgewandelt wurde" which means in English " Once a trigger is converted to custom text" but nothing more :) |

Well, you could can convert them back to GUI format but it's hard work. You will have to edit the wtg file, probably the wts and wct files and first of all you have to know what the code of the map script does. |
