Ally Colors!

Hmm... There is a wierd glitch in my map. Whenever someone clicks the "change ally colors" button (the shaking hands icon in the bottom left corner of your screen), it makes War3 crash for the player who clicks. What is up with this? I've never seen this before..! emote_sweat

That's pretty weird. If you set the flag that forces fixed start settings, does it keep people from adjusting color? That could solve your problem.

This might be a little weird to understand, but what colors are you trying to set them to? Are you trying to do it so all players have different colors, allies are Blue and Enemies are Red, You are shown as teal, and your allies are blue and enemies are Red, or does it just crash whenever you click the button, regardless?

jeffsu, changing colors with Fixed Player Settings shouldn't cause any crashes.

E-A, could you show us the trigger? It might be something that has nothing to do with the Player - Set Color action.

Umm...it's not a trigger thing, he's saying that when people click on the minimap - ally colors button in the game it crashes war3 for the person who clicked on it...

There is no trigger that changes player color. I will post the map here. Of you're bored you could even play a full game on battle.net. Just dont click the Ally Colors button. ;)

Sorry, I should have uploaded it sooner but I was too baffled in disbelief from this..

This is the latest version.. (2.0)

You should have Private Messaged me about this instead of spamming off-topic questions in my thread. -.-;; But I will help you anyway. Import a TGA file into your map and use this trigger. This is what I used and it works fine.

Cinematic - Fade out and back in over 6.60 seconds using texture EternalAgony.tga and color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%) with 0.00% transparency
