I was just wondering - messing with my triggering. How do we create a jump like effect for a unit, making it look like a unit is actually jumping instead of floating to its flying height. |

Make the unit a flying unit then set the movement height to xx very fast order the unit to move forward and make it land by setting the movement height to 0 fast |

ignore the fact that the footman has to cast an ability to jump, and also that he automatically moves when jumping, those can easily be changed, just look at the 'gravity' stuff -- i made it to demonstrate it to someone else, thats why those are there |

Also note that your map prolly doesn't turn collision ON correctly... |

Wat I'm saying....that if it's the jump map(s) I've seen befoe, after you use the ability, you can walk over walls because collision is tunred off. I can't DL the map you attached (I'm at college), but all the others had that problem. |

well on the one i just posted of course you'll be able to walk over stuff, you can in the first place since the unit is set to fly rather the best way is to replace the unit, jump, and then go back to a foot unit but if the guy wants to add jump, thats up to him to do, not me the map is only there to demonstrate the gravtational effect to smoothen jumping |
