Guest | Hi, This is probably really simple, but I'm just starting out, so be kind! There is a doodad in the village set of an achery target, but it's not attackable. How would I go about making it so? Would I able to just set a property or would I have to try and reskin/model those killable crates? Would making a new unit work? Thanks heaps! |

Guest | Surely someone? Heh - I was at least expecting a flame if it's been covered in other threads. :D |

Doodads are .obj files, while unit models are .mdx. Grab the converter from the tools forum, import the new mdx into your map, and create a custom unit with the archery target model (use Blink). |

Are you sure? Coz i don't think so. Doodads are MDX. That's why we can use doodad models as unit models (like the battleship on some GLADIATOR'S maps). |

Guest | Thanks to both of you for the reply - so it looks like going with a custom unit is the method to use - either way. I'll grab that file just in case. |
