Loading and Saving Triggers

I've seen those triggers in the trigger editor, but the descritption says "works only with blizzard-signed maps" And it indeed didn't worked with mine :p

Does anyone know how to bypass this?

It would be really cool to have maps like the ones in the orc campaign. (TFT)

Those from Blizzard are so selfish!

It's not that Blizzard is selfish, it's that Blizzard knows it's fan-base too well. The potential for abuse of those triggers is high, ranging from filling up someone's hardrive to deleteing everything on it. It's really a shame but AFAIK there isn't anything we can do about it.

Well the reason we cant use it is because blizzard is lacy. There are numerous ways that you could limit the use of those triggers.
This a thing that blizzard screwd us with.

I disagree, Targash. Blizzard may have been able to limit it, but you don't know how much stress is put on them to finish the game and finalize it. They may or may not release the feature in a patch, but I think you should be happy that Blizzard released such a great game, and that you would have been even more pissed if it didn't come out on time.

well not really. I would much rather have a company that does what it have said it was going to do than end up with a version that is 60% incomplete such as the The Frozen Throne were.
The campaign sucked. There was very few new units. Most of the stuff were suppose to be in RoC.
The editor is not that all great. There are alot of bugs. The jass editor has alot of downsides. Your could as well program in notepad. The lack of modability without using 3rd party tools is still very limited. They should have done alot more work on this game and its hihgly overrated. But i bought it so they have their share of work.
But i think the number of buyers of this type of game frm them will degenerate.

The campaign was decent and I find frozen throne much better than reign of chaos.... there were lots of things they couldn't have fixed with just patches so a whole new game (expansion in this case) is worth it.

Gah all these blizzard fanboys is annoying. Blizzard to the short way to success. Hype the game and rely on all those suckers out their to buy it even if it aint worth it. It should have cost 13 euros or 15 dollars.

I really don't know why your trashing blizzard so much. I thought TFT campaign was way better then RoC. Plus the new map editor gives you the ability to make spells without the need of 3rd party programs. Not to mention you can now skim through any icon or display image in the game you want to give an item without cut and paste from something else. The expansion gave a few new units and heros and tons of new spells and tilesets. I mean look back at all of the other expansions for other games... thats the reason its called an expansion.. it adds only a few new things. If you want to go into blizzard releasing something that wasnt fully complete then you have no where to talk unless you have played games like Everquest. You should be thanking blizzard for almost how flawless their games are on release.

I like the multiplayer part.
And im currently doing my own mod but that doesnt change the fact that they could have done alot more than they did.

I think the expansion was worthwhile but a little overpriced. At least they don't have 5 expansions like Evercrack. :gsmile:

i dont play RPGs that aint constructed like Star wars Jedi Knight 2 i think it was.
When you can fight in real time with a sword and move it around with different keyboard settings then ill play RPGs online.
I have a vision of a vast world that people can come together and invade eachothers cities and huge battles in forests and plain fields. With people with bows and others swinging axes and swords.
