READ THE QUEST LOG. I don't want people complaining it's too hard because they didn't read the quest log and don't know how to play.


This is pretty much the first public test, and other then that I've been testing solo so it's probably in desperate need of balancing and any comments and suggestions are welcome.

A) Is it playable in solo?

It's pretty playable.

You can buy a new unit for 2500, so for every person missing the rest of the people get a equal share of 2500 gold.

So if you play solo you have enough gold to make as many units as you normally have in a 9 player game.

Only problem is micro, since it can be hard to control 9 heros, especially after you get to the higher classes.

Many problems and i just played for a bit, once a hero hits its level 9 form it sucks, little-to-none custom abilities, no custom items...

I know I know... :)

Be nice, early beta... Just working on getting the basic structure finished right now, working on the tech units.

After that I'm doing spells, then items, and hopefully 1 more upgrade for each class and 1 more universal upgrade, minimum.

I had Summoner at 6 and caster at 6 or 7. Caster had abillities Raise Skeleton, Finger of Death and Animate death. It was very easy with that spells, but in shoping time I upgrade Caster and Summoner at max upgrade. Summoner becomes Keeper of the Grove and Caster becomes in $h..t!!!! Then I LOSE!!!!!!!!
So without that ,,UPGRADE'' it was easier!

So fix that upgrades.
Also warrior have same attack and HP after upgrades!

Cool Ideas

Just need to change sounds, as a rock golem sounding like a huntress is quite disturbing :P lol

Otherwise, very cool

Didn't make it far...level 1 :P But I got the general idea.

Also, a timer for next level and for when u can get in and buy again would be nice to have. Scoreboard with kills maybe? :)

OK, are the issues I got:

-Some heroes shadowmeld or something at night, so at the begining you can't see them, when choosing them...

-The floating texts above the circles of power all around the map disapear after a moment, they shouldn't.

-The collision size for the attackers is too high, they should be able to pack a bit more I think. Their attack range is also too high as they are smaller, it looks wierd and its annoying.

-Levels overlap, I onced has 3 levels in the same time.

-You should have more spells, or more heroes without the upgrade and more levels. I don't like when you loose a spell you had in another hero that was good.

-The spells aren't edited to be efficient against these types of units, with high HP, for example Fan of Knives or fire breath.

-When you loose your hero and revive him, he is locked behind the gates! --VERY ANNOYING--

-The terrain is umm.. sorry.. horrible.

Considering its an alpha version, Its pretty good I think, once you fix all that it'll be much better =).

This was an experiment. Simply put, I wanted to see what happened if people couldn't keep up.
After tweaking the map a bit it might work better, if not I'll just remove it.

K, thx, I'm actually working on allowing you to choose your skills from a list, each time you upgrade your class you get a few new options, and the higher classes might get to choose 5-6 while the low levels get 2-3.

I know :) I hate terraining, I've talked someone who is actually half decent into doing it for me, so that will get much better.
