Did anyone ever face a glitch that removed unit/hero portraits? The 3D animated image in the taskbar on screen. It just disappeared. Any known causes for something like this? |

I think there's an option to switch them on/off, or am I thinking Starcraft? |

What unit/hero was it? Was it a custom model? Was it a custom unit? Was it an original model of an in-game unit or what? |

ALL units. Not just one unit. I can answer as I am a part of the same project, so this is 100% correct information |

I don't think they were like "You're lying, there's no such thing!". Now, on to the problem, André and Derek, it most certainly has to do with a custom spell that loads with the game, or is used. If it's on start up, it's when the spell is loaded, else it's when the spell is used. It can also be related to triggers. First of all, you should try just not using any of the spells, might even want to reset them all and see if the problem disapears. If it still doesn't work, load a backup. Disable all triggers and enable them one by one. This is basic trigger-debugging. If none of that worked, come back here. Regards Dead-Inside |

My apologies for reviving a dead thread, but has anyone actually found a solution for this issue? I'm debugging a map for somebdy, and have also encountered it. Just to clarify, all unit portraits are completely gone after a particular cinematic, and don't come back. Possibly related to this, the unit info "card" and the in-game health bar also update slowly or not at all in response to damage after this (that is, numbers don't go down). If anyone has any insight into this, it would be greatly appreciated. |

I'd first venture a guess to make sure all cinematic modes are disabled that have any effect on that... but without seeing the map, I couldn't hope to find the actual solution. |

mayb u should try and work backwards, like first getting rid of everything but spells (backing up ofcourse), then everything cept trigs, etc... |

when I got this bug, I had a turn cinematic mode on in map initialization |

makes sense, cinematic mode does get rid of all that shit on the bottom. make sure all ur cinematic trigs have a corresponding turn off trig |
