Is it possible to make a hero who's attacks are disabled until it picks up a weapon, at which point, the hero's damage is changed to reflect the weapon. Preferably, not using a system that ups a primary stat or has the green + next to the damage. I figured out how to do it with armor (I think... Spiked Carapace?) But I would like to know if it is possible to make a weapon system like that. |

set his dmd to 1-0 (0 basic dmd, 1 die 1 side on a die) and give ti an atribute bonus... (no other way i can see.... the green numbers arnt ugly) |

WAIT! i got it! make the hero use a wepons upgrade, when he aquires the item, set the research level. same for armor. edit:(forgot to edit) |

You could also try having multiple units that represent that Hero. The base unit would have no attack, but then when it picks up a weapon you swap it for one (that looks exactly the same) that does. |
