New Skin (Opinions Please)

Hello All,

I'll keep it short and simple. :) New skin, first attempt, wanting any and all critisizm/compliments. Whats wrong with it? Whats good about it? How could I improve on it?

nice skin, think the horse head could possibly do with some more detail though...
also welcome, first instance I know of of a married person posting on these boards.

I've done alot of work on the horse, they dont really give you alot to work with as far as the horses face is concerned. It sorta stretches oddly, not allowing for a whole lot of detail. But I will take another look at it, thank you for the suggestion.

the whole skin needs to be shaded more but nice for a 1st 6/10

Hey, I'm married too! I have two kids also.

on topic, the blue looks plain and fuzzy, it needs some more detail. also, the horse looks kinda like a llama, but that's ok.

The horse's head is to blurry but other wise nice job.

Oh my god that is the cutest mount ever.

Horses can be a pain. Their skins are like a blanket tossed over 4 legs. Not easy, especially without the alpha channel giving it a more layered look.

maybe its just me but im getting a blank image with some warning about not posting images to remote locations... blah?

The skins is good, maybe need more shading on the armor. But the axe ... it suck, change it, it looks a toys.

its just that the ah, is that a pony? and the axe looks like a butterfly. just some dodge n burn to make the knight's armor metallic. anyways, Good Job for a 1st attempt.:D

well i hate the colours specially on the armor
thats the realest looking horse ive seen in wc3 *even though somewhat cartoony*

it wont look good amongst wc3 skins but if u make all the heros look like that itll be good

and husband?.. i had no idea women played wc

Just a quick update, I alpha'd the gold trimming so its got the squared off look (i forgot to do that before). Gonna be doing alot more work on his armor, mainly the breastplate and legs, to make it look more metallic. The axe blade is going to be balanced alot better to make the jagged edge more realistic. Might toy around with the colours, but i actually kinda like the blue and white ^_^

Going to *try* to make the horses face more realistic, but its pretty hard so far stupid stretching and warping is hard to conpensate for. -_-

Thank you for all the feedback though, i do appreciate it. I'm working on a demonhunter skin atm (without a blind fold man its hard!) I will post some pics up sometime soon.

And yes I'm married :P we are quite a young couple though 21 and 19 been happily married for well over a year now. I dont play alot of regular wc because we only have 1 good computer that can run it (our other one sucks) and my husband plays alot ^_^ but were getting a new one really soon so i'll probably be learning how to play regular games alot better then i can now hehe.

-Darken the torso
-Remove the blue things from the axe
-Put more details into the horse's face

Don't be harsh like that to other peopl's work, since on most of them they did put real effort on them. It's not very kind saying that to a newcomer, woman or man (or whatever it can be other than that).
