Guest | I made a map and downloaded some LOTR music from kazaa to put in the map. It works fine but my problem is when people download the map it takes them MUCH longer with the music then without. about 3-5 mins with music 30 secs to 1 min without. And its only a 2 min song. Anyone have any ideas how to reduce the DL times but still use custom music? thanks |

Well, since Mp3 (I assume you're not using .wav) is just about the smallest format we've got for high quality music, the only suggestion I can make is to use midi files. However, I don't think that's quite what you were looking for.. Other than that, your only choice is to reduce the size of the file somehow, usually by lowering quality or length. |
