*Smiles* Hehehe. Very anime like (That's a good thing). You also seem great at maintaining the voice - which doesn't seem to be anything like your natural one - through a lot of expressions (Annoyance, amazement, etc). That's what being a VA is about! :D (And the free sex too) |

Alright, my opinion. I hate to say it, but I don't like it. The voice is extremely annoying, and I know it's intentional, but even then, it gets on the listener's nerves. Yes, anime voices are like that most of the time, but it's not the intentional thing that annoys me, it's just the overall voice. Secondly, I think you're trying too much to get a certain sound, which makes your voice sounds very squeezed. Well, that's my 2 cents. I liked your Warcraft demo thingy better, though that's a completely different genre. |

I think the point of the voice.. and if you've seen the scene... is that he's supposed to represent every overly obsessed fan of anything... the character is this guy who is unshaven, dirty, messy-haired, fat guy...hidden back in a room filled with TVs and such... when you first see him, he's watching an episode of 90210. he's supposed to be repulsive.. but the scene is hilarious. |

I know what you were going for, and I couldn't have it done it any better, but it's just that I don't like this type of voice. Not just yours, but I hate everyone's voice doing this. I think I was kinda harsh in my earlier post, and I didn't mean to be that. Bear in my mind that I HATE anime voices, so there's actually nothing wrong with your sample if you look at it that way. You're right, I haven't seen the scene ('seen the scene' heh, funny) but what I've heard as standalone voice struck me as annoying. It doesn't mean I don't like your voice, 'cause I liked in your WC3 demo, like I said. So basically, after all my babble, don't count my opinion. :) |

Very annoying voice indeed, but I still like it because its quality. Would have been represented better if you taped the other guys voice in the background so its not as confusing. Good job, sounds alot like Vash. |

you know whats sick.. I'm sure int he world of voice acting... they probably are the same person... not too many voice actors...doing alot of anime. |

he said it sounded like Vash... and I was refering to the fact that perhaps the REAL VA for the character I did does the same voice as vash. Like I said above, there are plenty of voice actors.. but looooots more cartoons, anime, radio, etc.... most of it is nonunion work (anime is at least) so many people are afraid to venture into that territory.
