You need warcraft 3 viewer (it's better than image extractor II), and either paintshop pro or photoshop. I use the import manager that is in the world editor, but some people use other stuff. Open veiwer and find the skin you want (there's a search tool if you need it), then you need to save it as a .tga file. now you can open it with the imaging program you've choosen. I wouldn't bother with alpha channels on you firdt skin - I think it's better to get the hang of the basics first. once you've made the changes you want save it, then in veiwer click the button that has ?-.blp on it save as whatever. open the editor and use the import manager to get the .blp file (i think you need to change it's name to the path in the veiwer - units/orc/whatever for example) then you need the unit/object editor and double click the art model line and click the custom option and enter the path of your skin. to get the name/path right i use the search in veiwer and type the whole path of the skin - you can make sure you get it right, then copy it and paste into the properties of the impoted .blp file in the import manager, and into the art model line in the object editor. I hope that helps, it's hard to follow i know. don't worry about asking more questions. |

ok... have u converted it to blp format? the skin... import it into the import manager. then double-click on the blp file and change the path to Textures\HeroBladeMaster.blp And I thk that will work...(99% sure... cuz forgot the path for the skin of BM... but roughly remembered... |

What programs are you using? and tell us what you've done already. It's hard to help cos i don't know what stage you're at, giving a blademaster armour was my first skin i did it 2 days ago. 3 days ago i was as confused as you - it'll click don't worry. :gsmile: |

I do not believe it is possible for us to teach you here, but here is a tip. Use Burn/Dodge to make it look more embossed and 3D. |

i already kno that |

Well then what do you want us to say? Do you want me to give you the link to "How to skin like KDEWolf"? Do you want me to tell you every last detail on how to make the perfect skin? Well don't bother saying yes, because I'm sure 99% of us would not like to teach you how to use Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro |

umm i jsu wanna kno hwoto upload my skins and tips on making my guy look cooler thats all... |

Well what do you want to look cooler? Do you want blood splattered, or the axe to be shiny? Use a search engine to find what you are looking for. And to import the skin into your map, search the forum. I've answered this question many times. |
