I'm rigging up a system by which Heros can gain levels indefinitely, by knocking them back to level 1 every 10 levels and preserving their stats by using items. But I've run into a snag: When a hero uses an item with Item Ability "Item Agility Gain (+2)" many, many times, the results are as you would expect: the hero's Agility increases by 2 with each use of the item, and its attack speed increases as well (it's bloody hilarious watching an uprooted Ancient Protector flail its arms so fast the game only draws three frames)... However, when this hero is Revived, or Stored to Cache and pulled back out, while the Agility of the hero stays the same, the ATTACK SPEED of the hero returns to normal! It's confusing the hell out of me, does anyone out there have any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks a bunch // Ligature |

Isnt it enough to just raise the max lvl to 10000? |

Should point out that I am a rank amateur here... how do you change the max level? That was the first thing I tried to do but I couldn't find the action/function/property anywhere... That would be the best thing to do, though. Thanks. // Ligature |

emote_sweat More and more embarassing... how do you edit "Game Constants?" I can't find 'em anywhere. Thanks for bearing with me! // Ligature |

Ehm, I might add that you need TFT (Xpac for RoC), but anyways, go into the Object Manager ---> Edit Game Constants |

Yeah... TFT apparently is incompatible with the version of WE I have... I think. When I ran it, every trigger I had already set up became invalid and attempting to save produced copious errors... not to mention the fact that this continued until I reinstalled Warcraft from the CD. Maybe there's another *kind* of TFT that will work? Or perhaps I'm confused about what TFT means? Thanks again for helping. As you can see I need the help... // Ligature |

heh, you would know what TFT was if you bought it. Its the expansion pack that Blizzard made for RoC (Reign of Chaos). TFT = The Frozen Throne. If you have TFT then the WE is automatically installed, so obviously you don't. Buy TFT, its a great xpac. |

................ Well hey, that explains a lot! Thanks for the help Pesmerga, I will definitely consider acquiring said software. But just out of morbid curiosity, anybody know why the attack speed would reset? // Ligature |

Because you're not supose to be able to do what you did when you manipulated the game in the way you did? It's not your fault in any way. But you can't fix it and you're basicly wasting your time. Regards Dead-Inside |
