Here is my situation. I have the original skin for the Tauren Chieftain. I made a variant recolor skin of the Tauren Chieftain. Here's my question. Is it possible for me to have, in game, the old Tauren Chieftain skinned unit standing next to my variant recolor Tauren Chieftain. Another way to explain it might be this: You know how the Paladin model has, like, 4 different skins? The normal one, Uther, the white haired one and the black haired one. Can you do that for other units? I am working off of Reign of Chaos, not the expansion. Provide helpful feedback please. |

Your reply is exactly what I was looking for. But, I've bumped into some additional problems regarding the required tools. The tools and my status with them are as follows: Warcraft II Image Extractor 2 - have, use, like An MPQ Extractor/Imported - do not have. I tried to get WinMPQ from here on the site, but there weren't enough instructions for me to install it properly. Basically, I didn't figure it out. YobGul's Warcraft II File Converter - just got it. It works. Should be ok. A WorldEdit Enhancer - haven't the foggiest clue what this is. I assume it's just the WorldEditor. What it boils down to is two things. 1) WinMPQ installing instructions, or similar MPQ Extractor/Imported suggestions. 2) Defenition of what 'A WorldEdit Enhancer" is. I can do the rest of the work, no sweat. |

If you have tft, you dont need an mpq importer/exporter since the import manager in world edit does this for you. And example of a world edit enhancer would be umswe (use map settings world editor) if you dont have tft, use tech mpq instead, i dont think it has any installation since I dont remember having to install anything. |
