I was just wondering, you know the save game fuctions that only work on Blizzard signed maps? Well, would they work if a took a map from one of the mpq files and removed the triggers, edited the terrain and so on? Would the map still be blizzard signed? |

No. When you save changes, the sig is removed. |

Nope, because the rest of the file's structure changes when you save with the WE, so the authentication string from the original map will not work with an 'overwrite'. If you try and copy the edited sections of the file only, it likes to crash your computer :P. ~kharma |

Yah, its pretty pointless to try it. Games that NEED game cache won't be fun maps, anyways. |

Bliz was smart to make sure you can't forge the signature, but they were stupid enough to leave the "bliz only" triggers in there. Wow so they left out some hidden things. I've tried, with no success. |

Heh, did they not, when they first started advertising for TFT, say that one of the features of the improved WE was going to be multi-map campaign support? Maybe they wanted to say "See, we made what we promised," and then under their breath they say, "But you can't use it." |

Yah, it really sucks, they say the reason is because with those triggers u could easily flood the hard disc, but why not make it like a maximum of 10 mb per map? |
