Here's what I'm trying to do: I'm trying to modify the properties of a building so that it's smaller... not just the picture of it, but the entire deal smaller ... so that I can fit more of them in a defined area. I've gone into the object editor in WE and I've messed with every setting that seemed to be related to that ... but I've had no luck... :bgrun: I would appreciate any help on this matter :) Thanks in advance, Apoc PS: I just had to try this out: :ggani: :ggani: :ggani: |

If I remember correctly, you can change the appearance easily, and then change the pathing to something more accustomed to the new building's size. Let me try it out for a second to make sure I'm right, though. Indeed, it can be done in the Object Editor. The fields to modify are as follows - 1. Art - Ground Texture (So you don't have a massive Castle base around something half its size.) 2. Art - Scaling Value (Just change this to 0.5 for it to be half as big, etc.) 3. Pathing - Collision Size (Do a little math here and figure out the collision size of your new, smaller building.) 4. Pathing - Pathing Map (Change it to something that accurately represents the pathing limitations on your new building, IE - Scout Tower instead of Town Hall.) And that's really it. I hope you understood what I meant. And, now, an image... just for fun :P |
