Furry fur trouble!!!!!

im having trouble with drawing fur. Any tuts please notify me or e-mail them 2 me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

get a patch of 50% gray, and start drawing lines in the direction you want the fur to hang in, some dark lines, some light lines. Use the dodge and burn tool to do this. What you should have is a totally crap bit of pinstripe, so now you set the smudge to about 20% and start smearing. Eventually, once you've smeared in one direction for long enough, it'll start to look like fur. Hope this helps!

Another variation of that technique is to draw 'rounded' forms instead of lines, but it's the same thing, just without the smudge. I might try that one to see how it works.

thankz how would that work if i waz trying 2 make white fur. I figure if i use adjust/brightness contrast, it will make sum lines dissapear

Fur is never completely white, look at the shaman skin. If you want beastial white, use brown and grey for you lines, if you want pearly white, try using light blue and grey
