Funny, I was just glancing over the Skinning Forum and I didn't notice that you had asked anything there. At any rate, you'll have to describe more of your process for anyone to troubleshoot for you, and you'll have a lot more luck in the Skinning Forum than here. Is Textures\CryptFiend.blp the path for the original Crypt Fiend's skin? Otherwise, the Crypt Fiend model won't point to it. Once it was imported, did you try it in the map? It won't show in your WE unless you have the file in a relatively exact directory. i.e. you'd want it in Warcraft III\Textures\CryptFiend.blp. However, it ought to still show up in your map when you play it. What programs did you use to make the .blp and the .tga off of which it's based? There's ample opportunity for a person who isn't aware of the process to use the wrong file formats and compression, or to experience file corruption in the translation process. More information, please. |

Ok I d/l this Skin from skinwarehouse. This skin is made by PencilGod a skinning expert. There was a readme with the file that said the path location which i copied pasted onto this fora. What I did was: - Open Import Manager - Import Skin - Select Skin - Right Click > Change Path Name - I changed it to what i told you - I then Went to Object Manager > Found Crypt Fiend - Double Clicked Modle used > Found Crypt Fiends Modle( The modle was that of the Imported skin). - Clicked ok and the Modle went back to the Original Skin thats comes with TFT. - I placed Crypt Fiend on Map and The modle Hadn't Changed - I tested map Modle Hadn't Changed...... P.S. I posted this like 3 weeks ago on Skin Fora and no-one helped me/Replied. --Progniss |

The texture path is correct. Textures\CryptFiend.blp Make sure when you use the import manager, you tell the imported file to use a custom path exactly lise the one above (by right clicking the file in import manager). Other then that; save, exit World Edit, and reopen and the skin should be on the crypt fiend unit. |
