My new campaign called "Legend of the Avatar." It's an epic campaign that spans over 3 time periods. There's not much right now, but here's the basis of the story. Balon, a paladin from the kingdom of Gainsbrough is recruited by the people of Carus to protect their village from the relentless tide of bandits that seem bent on destroying the mysterious Avatar.... That's all I'm saying now. Here's what I'd like. Mappers Triggerers Cinemators Voice Actors- If I get enough. Co-Author- Someone to help me one with the story. The big thing about this campaign is it's pretty non-linear so your choices will affect the game at a later point. I put up a pretty paltry demo below of what I have done. In the end though I hope it'll be better. If you want to help please either e-mail me at [email protected] with the subject "LotA Application" or catch me on AIM as AllenJamesBlack or Yahoo Messenger as JamesPicard_007 Thanx for your time in reading this and playing my demo. I hope you'll apply and help make this great! I also posted this over at PlanetWarCraft. |

Just thought I need to put this up. In addition to creating the story I'll also test and debug the maps. Also tonight I will be posting a page with all my general information on the story and characters. Watch for it. |

WarCraft III: Legend of the Avatar Status: Pre-Production Setting(s): Takes place several years after WarCraft II, during and after WarCraft III. Background: Several years after the events of WarCraft II a young paladin named Balon is summoned to Lordaeron to teach along side Uther the Lightbringer. Departing from his home of Gainsbrough, which lies in Stromgarde near Aerie Peak, Balon travels towards Lordaeron. Soon a great thunderstorm forces Balon to camp in a nearby forest. As soon as the rain slows a villager from the nearby town of Carus approaches him. The villager tells Balon that Carus is being assaulted by bandits. Only seconds later the villager is killed by a lone bandit. Defending himself, Balon kills the bandit. Before the bandit dies he manages to say a few last words. “My comrades shall avenge me. We will destroy the Avatar!” With those final words Balon heads to Carus to protect its people. But soon he will become an integral part of the Legend of the Avatar…. Characters: Balon: A paladin from the kingdom of Gainsbrough. Trained in the arts of the Light, Balon has a strong sense of justice. However when it comes to legends and myths Balon is quick to dismiss them. Despite this fact, Fate has chosen Balon to play an important part in the Legend of the Avatar. Dentir: The village chief of Carus. A former Emissary of Lordaeron, Dentir is capable of some formidable magic. He assumes that Balon is part of the Army of Lordaeron that he requested help for. He is unwilling to admit his abilities and status is fading with age. Captain Santira: When Dentir left the services of Lordaeron his best friend, Captain Santira, joined him. Skilled in the arts of war, Santira has rushed to put up a resistance against the invading bandit army. No matter what he is always prepared to defend what is right. That's all I have for now. More will be added or may not be added because it would spoil the story. We'll have to see. O_o |

Ok. Uratoh and HNO3. If you don't mind I'd like to see some examples of your maps. Not anything trigger fancy. Just something simple I can walk around and explore. Now individually. Uratoh- Write up something on how you would expand what I've written so far. Either post it here or send it to my e-mail. HNO3- There are plenty of tutorials out there to look at. The best way though is practice them yourselves. I already have 2 guys from Planet WarCraft that says they'll help with the triggers so you may be ok on that. But please post or send me a map. i would like to see it. |

Guest | Well, the fact is that Story if the only thing I am really good at. Then we've got the Triggering part, which I could do practiculary anything in the Starcraft editor, and pretty much in the War3 too. But, anyway, I need more story than the little you've got on this site for knowing if there's anything I may add. |

Woebringer- If you're serious about helping with the story I'd rather get you through e-mail at this point. I don't want to divulge to much at this point. If you want to help me with the story please e-mail at the address above. |
