LOTR Mod

Aite, I just wanted to strike up an idea here, I havent been on awhile because I have been working on my new site which will be complete in around 2 months and I come back and my God the campaign gathering is as dull as ever, tons of new threads but no responders.

So My idea is think of something mostly everyone likes. That thing was LOTR, I think most people all have seen the LOTR movies and like them. So i figure since everyone likes LOTR y not try to make a mod of it.

Now one problem with mods is some people like different map type mods. Some rpgs, some race mods, some AOS's and everyone has their different prefrences, So i truely have no prefrence on what I want this to be.

I truely prefer a Race Mod using Humans, Drawves, ELVES (My fav), Goblins and Wargs, Uruk Hai and Orcs, and maybe an Ent race (Ents probably should just be a supporting race in campaign but you never know)

Thats my idea for a race mod, then use the main maovie heroes in the campaigns and just use special units as heroes with no particular identity from the movies as race heroes, or use the movie heroes as ultimate units. On wc3campaigns race mod they had this huge unit that took forever to build but just pwned when u had him. We could do it like that and the movie heroes would be those units. Just a thought.

Or we could make a adventure/rpg mod using LOTR or an AOS with skins and stuff but whatever, As long as I get to participate:) and work on it, and some people actually wanna help, unlike some other mods, just so long as people wanna help and participate ill do whatever. (I think i just repeated myself but oh well)

Ok, Thats just what I would like to do, my 2 cents, just looking for sometin fun to do when im not working on my site, because alot of stuff for it i dont do, so i cant work on it day and night and need sometin to do in my spare time.

BTW, I spell edit, unit edit, trigger, Story write if i gotta, website write, DUH, Can kinda graphic create, other stuff is minor but i know im forgetting a good amount :)

So I need everything I cant do:P

Aite this sucks no responds and only 14 views...... but i got a solution, many of ya'll know about the community compotion and i went around searching for a job there and my god i found a lotr campaign, so what i asked the leader is if i could combine with them, so after we finish the campaign we use the same team as a race mod, they mostly need modelers right now so check there if u like lotr heres the link:

How good are you? I've seen literary thousands of Lotr campaigns/missions/mods and only one or two were worth checking out. Hell, I don't feel good enough to go do something like that (well, maybe Wars for the Silmarils, when I'm done with CaQT).

Pretty good ideas if we try to finish the campaign and things like that maybe we can make a race mood (LOTR) that would be cool.
But i think the only think you can do at this time is spells since we not need them yet i will tell you what to do when somethings come up plz post good ideas in the forum for the campaign

And afta the campaign it would be cool to make a race mod and agttach the campaign to the race mod, maybe even get a bnet server :) well i wish but u nvr know.

nice, skinning work is good, tho in some bits, clearly CnP, the bandit model is also too human 4 an orc, so it really looks like a retarded ape\human in game, nice skin tho:D
