Yes and yes. And the same thing happens in reg. WE and UMSWE Secret version. |

Try to raise the terrain in the area one level, and then save / restart and lower it again... Never seen this before, looks really wierd. Internal map error? |

I'll try later 2night, but if anyone else has had this problem, plz let me know. I checked the whole map, and it's only this one section that does it. :D |

i had this problem too (well....kinda related) it happens when i raise the cliff and put shallow water ON the cliff.....and then u cant lower that cliff anymore.....and the sides are all straight line instead of smooth, like the screenshot above) and im using a normal WE but if someone come up with a solution, i will highly appreciate it (it is very frustrating because it messes up the whole map and i have to start over again with the terrain, saved accidentally btw...) |

but draco... if ur able to do a small map like that with all square edges, it would be funny to host it then play and see what pl say about it. Like "Howd u do that?" |

Couldn't you remove it by pasting a piece of blank terrain over it? |

This problem seems to be related to the Enforce Water Height Limits option, but I'm not totally sure. If you look closely at the edges of the water in this pic you can see how the water squares off as well. ![]() |

The problem is I'm not really using any cliff levels at all. I started with all shallow terrain and then raised it up. So in theory, there should be exactly the same thing under every section, which isn't the case. |

Yes, I was just going to say that. Placing a tile of water automatically lowers the terrain. If your base cliff level is 0, then it can go any lower! |

yea i have similair problems with adding slopes in terrain editor. I usually get around it by redoing the entire problematic area or covering the un-slopable part with doodads so players can't really see it. Sometimes editor just gets screwy on terrain and we can't help it much. |

I'll attach a new pic. The wierd thing is the ground terrain is actually LOWER than the water.... THis means that the water SHOULD be showing up the put just squares off and doesn't... If noone has a solution, I'll just alter the map so that part is above ground.... kinda sucky though. :bgrun: |

I think it might have something to do with Enforce Water Height Limits, and not enforcing them. When you dont enforce water heights, if you try to edit the water area, that water will stay in the same place no matter what, even if the land is below it, just looks like some weird water standing on nothing. |
