you know how some skins are half of the person right? i am trying to find a way to get rid if that for the demonhunter so that i can right something horizontally across him without having it mirrored. How do i do that? i hope you don't have to use model editing, because i can't use my 3dsmax to open those models for some reason. it only opens .max. its probably too old and i don't feel like updating it |

but then i don't have the slightest clue of how to skin models, i only know how to edit and then replace an existing one. how are you suppose to do taht. can my 3.1 3ds max do that? i don't know how to use it to open models and i can barely use that program. if that program can't do anything, what should i use instead |

You need 3d studio max 4.2 at least to make the scripts we have currently work. It isn't an easy task, even to somehow experienced modellers to change the wrapping at will, mainly because there isn't much free space on already mapped models. You can go to our tutorials section or modelling forum for more info about how to make that work. |
